CHOCOLATE GIRLS

A girl abandons her best friend to join the popular "Chocolate Girls," but in the end, she finds out that changing for the "best" doesn't always make you feel better.
I made this film at the American Film Institute. The cinematography (Marco Hoffman) & production design (Tan Kurtcebe) make it worth watching – as does the cast. It premiered at the Brooklyn International Film Festival and was highlighted by Paste Magazine’s “Signs of Life” DVD (2004).
This movie spawned Go Deep!, a feature-length script I hope to shoot someday. I'm looking for investors, so to find out why film financing is one of the most glamorous and exciting ways to avoid sending money to the IRS.
